Workshop Mission Statement
The Portland Music Workshop (formerly Portland Regional Music Workshop) has been held annually since 1984. It was created to provide practical support to members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in musical callings. Whether that service be in their homes, wards or stake. This also includes anyone who may one day hold a music calling. Workshops are designed to provide hands-on, relevant, and useful training. People who come to the workshops leave not just inspired, but instructed, motivated, and equipped with the tools for their stewardships.
Registration
There is no fee, but pre-registration helps us to better plan the event.
Music Swap Table
Do you have sheet music that you don't want to keep and can't throw away, because, well, throwing away music is just wrong? Once again, we'll have an exchange table at the workshop. Leave your unwanted music, and browse through what other's have left.
How to Find Us
Beaverton Stake Center
4195 SW 99th Ave.
Beaverton, OR 97005
PLEASE NOTE: This building is not visible from the street and can be tricky to find! The main driveway/alleyway to the church is located on 99th, but you won't see the church until you reach the parking lot (there is a small, white sign on 99th opposite the driveway pointing the way.)
Parking is available on two levels.
- The entrance off SW 99th will take you to parking on the same level as the main floor of the building.
- Parking off of the 102nd Avenue entrance will lead you to a lower level parking lot. You can access the chapel by going upstairs.
